This is a classic high quality black crinkle. Use our six gore skirt from the Skirt Wardrobe to whip up a great wardrobe basic that would sell for well over $100 in high-end boutiques. The trick is not to prewash the fabric. Just cut as is, sew up the skirt (an easy evening project), then wash in cold water and drip dry. It will shrink to a nice sleek fit through the hip. And because it's a crinkle it will have some fit flexiblilty; essentially a one size fits all. Keep in mind that if this fabric is prewashed it crinkles a lot, decreasing the width to about half. So if you make the six panel skirt as instructed you'll have a washable skirt, otherwise we would suggest dry cleaning. Also, any area that gets flattened can be restored by simply spraying with a fine mist of cold water. Suitable for skirts or tops. As washing machines and water temps & quality vary considerably, we recommend test washing a 4"x4" swatch to determine shrinkage and texture change before washing entire yardage.
